Initial Visit

After an initial intake to establish what your goals are, your Tongue and Pulse diagnosis will be taking in a Traditional Chinese Medicine style. You will learn about channels and meridians and then will go to a treatment room for a relaxing treatment. I will insert very fine acupuncture needles, described as non painful by most patients, and then let you rest with the needles in for 15-30 min depending on your needs. During this time, most patients will relax, meditate, pray or sleep. You are allowed to bring earbuds and a device for listening to relaxing music. We provide rooms that are customizable for warmth, with gentle wave sounds or other white noise for relaxation.
Return Visit
45-60 min
In a return acupuncture visit, you may have your tongue and pulse diagnosis rechecked, along with a check in on symptoms and progress. You will receive a relaxing treatment tailored to your needs and goals. Acupoints and location of needles may change from visit to visit, based on your symptom check in.
