In this visit you can expect a review of your symptoms and a review of your general health.
We will review life stressors as this plays a role in your health and healing.
We discuss your current eating, drinking and exercise habits and discuss your goals.
I will recommend an initial regimen of herbs, vitamins and/or supplements, and give basic meal and exercise recommendations.
I will give basic Mind Body recommendations such as guided meditation, EFT, Qi Gong and/or Naturopathic Counseling. I may recommend a series of acupuncture.
I may refer you to a Counselor or other specialists as needed.

Return Visit: Mind Body

In this visit we review your progress since the last visit.
We review any labs that have been run and make a plan based on the symptoms and lab results.
If there are no labs to review, we will generally spend more time reviewing lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise.
We will review previously given Mind Body exercises and will expand on these ideas.
Patient Requirements: If you want any outside lab reviewed, submit it 24 hours before scheduled appointment. If you have a med change, please submit it 24 hours before scheduled appointment.

I am experienced in helping women with Osteoporosis and Osteopenia, Perimenopause and Menopause complaints, such as hot flashes, mood swings, and insomnia, Pelvic Pain, Heavy menses, Painful menses, Yeast infections, Breast tenderness, PMS, PMDD, Vulvodynia, and Infertility among many others. Please call if you don’t see your specific condition as I am a general medicine practitioner and have likely treated your condition in the past.
We will review life stressors as this plays a role in your health and healing.
We discuss your current eating habits and discuss any goals you have pertaining to food.
I do not perform PAP smears or female exams, but will review any lab results, pathology reports or hormone analysis you have from other physicians.
I may recommend labs which are not covered by insurance and cost between $150-400 paid directly to the lab.
I will recommend an initial regimen of herbs, vitamins and/or supplements, and give basic meal and exercise recommendations.
I may give basic Mind Body recommendations. I may recommend a series of acupuncture. I may refer you to an OB/GYN as needed.

In this visit we review your progress since the last visit.
We review any labs that have been run and make a plan based on the symptoms and lab results.
Generally, the plan will include herbs and vitamins to use for three months to a year depending on condition, and then return for follow up. Herb and vitamin costs vary by recommendation.
We may additionally spend time reviewing stressors and Mind Body approaches to dealing with them.

In this visit, you can expect a thorough review of your health history, and to be asked how you got to where you are today, and what your goals are.
Together we will review your health from top down and then discuss what you eat and drink on a daily basis.
I may recommend blood work to assess your metabolic and hormonal health.
I will give a basic plan of vitamins, herbs and supplements to begin, as well as basic meal planning and exercise advice. You will be asked to fill out a Food and Drink Log to bring to the next appointment.

Return Visit: Metabolic Health

You will step back onto the body composition scale to mark change from the last visit.
We will review your Food and Drink Log together and may spend a significant amount of time discussing meal shifts to meet your goals.
You will leave with a targeted goal to work on.
You may be asked to continue Food and Drink Log.

We will review your Food and Drink Log together and may spend a significant amount of time discussing meal shifts to meet your goals.

Gut issues includes IBS-D, IBS-C, Diarrhea, Constipation, Food allergies, Food sensitivities, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease, SIBO, SIFO, GERD, Acid Reflux, Gastritis, NASH, Celiac Disease, Gluten Sensitivity, and many more. If you don’t see your condition listed, call the office as I am a general medicine practitioner and have likely treated your condition in the past.
Together we will review your health from top down and then discuss what you eat and drink on a daily basis.
I will take your vitals and you will step onto a scale which measures fat, muscle and body age as a baseline to be sure that our interventions are helping you reach your goals while maintaining and improving body composition.
I will likely recommend a Functional stool test, which requires you to submit a stool sample at home, possibly in a series.
I will likely recommend a food sensitivity test that can be performed in the office. You will likely be given a Food and Drink Log to fill out for the next visit.
I will recommend basic supplement support and basic meal plan.

Return Visit: Gut Health

We will go over any lab work you submitted, you will get a copy of your results. I will review how you did with the meal plan and Food and Drink Log. I will likely make new meal recommendations based on your lab results.
You will step back onto the scale to ensure that our meal planning efforts are benefiting you.
I will give you a list of supplements to take to work on your specific gut health needs.

Initial Visit: Complementary Cancer Care

(Working with your cancer care team)
In this appointment, we will review your diagnosis and staging. We will review your current and past medications and reaction to medications along with your current side effects and pain levels. Please bring a list of your current vitamin and herbal regimen, if any. All vitamin and herbal supplements will be database reviewed for interactions with your chemo, and this can be completed for the first visit only if submitted 24 hrs before the scheduled consultation.
I will review your metabolic health as blood sugar, cholesterol and hormone status can impact health overall. We will have a discussion of your current diet and I will give basic instructions on areas of opportunity. I will recommend supplements based on your current medical regimen.
I will likely recommend acupuncture for pain and neuropathy improvement.
- *Reminder* Every time you change a chemo, radiation and/ or steroid drug there can be interactions with herbs and supplements.
- You must inform me of changes during your return visits. If you are having a chemo change, call for a follow up appointment.
Patient Requirement: Complete intake and complete medication and supplement list at least 24 hrs before scheduled appointment.

Return Visit: Complementary Cancer Care

Together we will review any medication changes, treatment changes and your objectives.
We will briefly review side effects, pain levels and treatment recommendations.
If you completed lab work, I will show you your lab results, and will briefly explain them. I will direct you to the next steps from those labs. I may recommend supplements and remedies based on lab results.
Patient Requirement: Updated medication and supplement list must be emailed or forwarded 24 hours before appointment. Please submit updated lab results from other physicians 24 hrs before your appointment.
**As your other physicians have 90 days to forward labs to our office, it is advisable that you get a physical copy of your lab results and submit it directly to us.
*** That can be using our HIPAA compliant email, or bring it in during business hours M-Thur 9-3. If you bring labs in from an outside source at the office visit, there may not be time to review and comment on them, and additional time may be needed.
